Welcome to New Scientist‘s devilishly difficult Christmas puzzle, set by Charlie Wheeler at Ultimate Quest. This year, your task is to work your way through the exhibits of a mysterious museum, solving puzzles as you go. You must then work out how to put your answers together to yield a clue – this will nudge you towards a hidden final puzzle to solve. Download the puzzle itself here for the full instructions. Once you have given it your all, the answers can be downloaded here. Good luck and happy puzzling, from all at the magazine.

If you’re looking for even more puzzles, you could try Charlie’s formidably tricky set of puzzles from last year at the link below.
